I'm Ariel, and this is the home for my games, prototypes, and interactive experiments.
The Philosophy Behind the Name
To me, a single pixel is the absolute core of digital art, the fundamental building block from which entire worlds and systems are constructed. Violet, conversely, is the hardest color for the human eye to perceive, resting quietly at the very edge of the visible light spectrum.
I aim to create games that exist in that same space. By taking simple, foundational mechanics (the "pixels") I aim build experiences that require a closer look, revealing hidden depths, complex systems, and details that might otherwise go unseen.
My Style & Passion
My approach to game development is deeply rooted in blending precise logic with vibrant aesthetics. Balancing a background in computer engineering and applied mathematics with a passion for creative design, I love the challenge of making the unseen math behind a game as elegant as what happens on screen.
Whether I am designing intricate 2D Unity puzzles like The Alchemist's Grid, programming player controls for a 3rd-person survival world, or composing original soundtracks from scratch, I treat game development as a complete, multi-sensory craft. My background music theory and a keen eye for photography heavily influences how I like to frame a scene or set the emotional tone of a level, ensuring every project is visually and audibly cohesive.
